This is to cover the cost of materials and a small deposit to reserve your installation time and date. The remaining amount will be payable on completion of your project. For smaller projects, we require full payment in advance.

We cover the London area inside of the M25, if you are just outside of the M25 please still contact us and we will try our very best to assist you.

We are not able to provide a building control certificate directly, however, we can point you in the direction of where to obtain a Building Control Certificate and assist you with the process.

The price of a complete site inspection for Roof Windows will be depend on your location – and if you decide to go ahead with our quotations for a new roof window installation or replacement roof windows, we will deduct the site inspection fee from your final invoice.

Yes, of course, we are more than happy to come out to your property to complete the installation only. What we would like to do is, before our engineers attend your property, we will double check you have all the correct products needed to complete your project. We are happy to advise you and share our product knowledge.

After all, we wouldn’t want you or our engineer to have a wasted journey if there are elements of the installation missing.

Yes, as mentioned previously, you will receive a 10 year warranty with the window manufacturer for any technical issues and a 2 year warranty with Skylight Fitters for the installation.

This way we can assess all the requirements for your project and you can ask one of our qualified engineers any questions that you may have regarding the roof window installation. As the time needed to complete the new opening will depend on the size of the roof window and its location, again please get in contact and we will be more than happy to guide you based on your individual needs.

We always offer a great price for our professional roof window installation. However, in order to provide that great price, we need to assess where the roof window will be installed including what access will be required as well as taking additional factors and variations into consideration for your specific requirements.

Our certified engineers will fit your blinds for around £100 per blind.

If the roof window blind installation is completed as part of a roof window replacement or a new roof window installation or you have multiple roof window blinds,  we can deliver a package price of £80 per blind. (Please get in touch to see if we have any seasonal deals running)

With VELUX and FAKRO roof windows, you will receive a ten year warranty for the window itself (this will be registered in the production code of the window and start from when the window is purchased. Please notewe will purchase your window a few days before installation is complete). We also offer a two year warranty for the installation of the roof window. When you have completed payment of your final invoice, this will act as your warranty and we are more than happy to attend your property if any issue arises. We keep all of your details on file, so do not worry if you misplace your warranty, as we can provide this to you at any time.

Yes, we do carry out emergency call outs or out of hours visits. We understand that sometimes things can happen when you least expect it! To help assist our customers in the best way possible we now offer out of hours service calls in the evening and on weekends. We also offer an emergency call out where we will attempt to get an engineer to you as soon as is physically possible. The emergency call out fee will be dependant on your location and materials required.

Yes we are able to supply spare parts for roof windows and window kits. Whether you need a part for a VELUX, FAKRO, KeyLite, Rotto or a non branded window, we will source the part you require and install it for you.

The price of roof window maintenance will vary depending on the size of the project, the amount of work that needs to be completed and any parts that are needed.

However, to give you a rough guide price – a basic service of one large roof window including all associated parts will be approximately £100. If you have multiple roof windows that require maintenance, we can deliver a bespoke package price for you.

Depending on the condition of your existing frame and when it was produced, you can upgrade the glazing. Please contact our sales team and they will advise of the the different types of glazing available.

Yes, we offer a window recycling service to recycle your windows and this service comes with a small fee that will be included in your quotation. This service is, of course, optional as you can dispose of the windows yourself, should you wish.

A Roof Window Pane replacement can be completed in half a day for one small window or a full working day for one larger window. Our window engineers will assess the current condition of your existing roof window frame and make sure the pane replacement will complete smoothly.

The length of time required will depend on the size of your skylight window and where it is installed.
